MEDICINE
WHEEL TOUR (3hrs) INCLUDES:
Learn how
the Medicine Wheel represents the cycles of life. Walk the Medicine
Wheel to receive inspiration and learn how to make your own anywhere.
Simple yet profound ...The medicine wheel is medicine. Coming from the
latin root word ''medi', which means coming to center, to balance;
hence the words meditation, mediocre, mediator, etc. The purpose of
the medicine wheel is for the individual to achieve balance, wholeness
and total health in all aspects (physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual). The medicine wheel is the Native American Indian microcosm
of the cycles of life. You can build one simply by placing a stone at
each of the four major compass directions: North, South, East and
West, and one in the center. Stones can then be added as you are
guided. The Native North American tradition includes three others:
Above, Below and Within; these make up the seven directions. Each
direction of the wheel has different qualities or aspects which are
medicine for you. When you walk the wheel you will be magnetically
drawn to the direction that contains the medicine that you need for
that day. For example if you need energy for new projects and rebirth
you will be drawn to the East, power and wisdom to the North,
intuition and insight the West, nurturing and peace the South. There
are many Native American Indian tribal variations of the
representative colors and animals. You can also intuit what feels
right to you. The most important thing is to come from your heart with
love and respect and to do what you guidance tells you is right for
you.

A
Medicine Wheel
A message from Suzanne: "I am not
Native American. I am of Celtic descent: Scottish and Irish, English
and Welsh. I have been taught by Grandpa Roberts (a Native American
Cherokee Shaman Medicine Man) in the way of the Medicine Wheel, Vision
Quest and Sacred Kiva Communication. The wheel that I share with you
on our journeys is my own personal way that I walk the wheel. I have
been walking the medicine wheel since 1985 for personal balance,
empowerment, healing and messages. Our medicine wheel tour is offered
as a starting point…"
